'Summer Festival @ Vauxhall Primary School – Spreading Hope - 12 July 2008, 1-6pm

The Summer Festival is a free community event organised by the All Nations Centre and Lighthouse Education Service, in partnership with Vauxhall Primary School. We are bombarded by so many depressing statistics these days, but this masks the good work being done by a lot of organisations around the local communities to help improve people’s lives. The aim of this event is to promote and celebrate these initiatives and engender hope in all our futures.

The event will take place at Vauxhall Primary School, Vauxhall Street, London SE11 5LG on 12 July 2008 at 1pm – 6.00pm

The event will promote the good initiatives, and in particular provide information on community organisations and services available to people in and around North Lambeth.

There will also be a variety of information stalls from a number of community organisations, including self-help groups, Fire Brigade, police, local health services, ethnic and fashion stalls, children’s activities, live music, free beauty stall, and free barbeque.

If you are a community organisation and wish to take part and have a stall at the event, please let us know. The number of tables available is limited and reservations are on the basis of first come first served'.
